The Wilhelmina L. Stewart Black Santas Collection

This special exhibit showcases the treasured Black Santa figurines and decorations from the Wilhelmina L. Stewart family collection honoring African American heritage and holiday traditions.

“For us, this tradition is more than aesthetics, it’s a celebration of heritage, inclusion, and the intentional way our mother/grandmother/great-grand mother shaped a holiday environment that reflects who we are. Each figurine is a symbol of love, identity, and the beauty of seeing ourselves in the stories and symbols of the season. More than just decorations, these pieces create a vibrant tapestry of festive spirit, reminding us that holiday magic isn’t one size fits all – it belongs to everyone.”
